60% of IRS Employees Fail protection Test
Your tax dollars at work: Some 60% of IRS employees tested were easily socially engineered into giving up data that could compromise the privacy and defense of EVERY U.S. TAXPAYER. The experiment involved 102 public who were called on the telephone and asked to give up their username and change their password to one specified by the caller. Only one of the 102 employees tried to validate the legitimacy of the signal.
